Ecogainder Begins - Mudaana-sama, warm us please!
The first episode of the kids show "Ecogainder" was aired in September 15th. Of course, we haven't seen it yet because it looks like no one uploaded it anywhere. Damn.

Mudaana-sama T_T
BUT!
After and exhaustive googling, I found the opening of the show. Pretty good song. The part that is important for us goes from second 41 to 47. Enjoy it!
She looks so evilly cute...
The first episode talked about air conditioning. I must confess it took me a while to understand the science of it. Haha.
So, based on the web site summary, the story is more or less as reads...
A warm day, mom Yuko got home from shopping and said: "zOMG it's so HOT," and she rapidly lowered the temperature of the air conditioner. Then, the best villain ever - Mudaana-sama - and her partner, both being called Eco-crushers, appeared and thanked mom "for contributing with global warming." Mudaana-sama took the remote control and lowered the temperature even more (from 26ºC to 24ºC).
But then, the friend of almighty justice *yawns*, Ecogainder, arrives! After kicking Mudaana-sama and her partner asses, he comes back to the house and tells mom Yuko to raise the temperature to 28ºC.
What's the point of this?:
Basically, when you lower the temperature of the air conditioner, the only thing you do is pressing a button. You're not really lowering the temperature. Why? Because the air conditioner sends out the hot air of the room and, in turn, the hot air from outside enters the room again. So the process is totally useless. Even though air conditioning does not pollute, it uses energy and energy is produced by hydro, thermal or nuclear plants. Nuclear and hydro plants don't produce CO2 (but they imply using other important resources), however, thermal plants use gas or coal and, sadly, produce tons of CO2 emissions.
So, in summary, air conditioning should keep an ambient temperature and not forcing lower (or higher) ones. If you use it excessively you're consuming basic resources and/or polluting indirectly.
Did you get it guys? :D
Let's see if Mudaana-sama can kick Ecogainder ass next week. See ya!

Railroad Sae
Awesome news, my friends.
There is a new drama role for Sae! The title of the drama is "Tetsudou Musume ~Girls Be Ambitious~" (鉄道むすめ ~Girls Be Ambitious~) and it's based on a manga that, in turn is based on PVC figures. Yes, you read well, PVC figures.
The figures are made by TOMYTEC, and they represent girls that work in different railway companies, with their respective uniform (Japan is all about uniforms, you know that). So, MATSUDA98 made a manga about it and now, a real action series has been decided. Nice, isn't it? Ah! Tomomi Kasai will also work in the drama.

Sae's role is "Miina Ohtsuki".
Profile:
Name: Miina Ohtsuki
Task: Station official
Company: Fujikyu Railway
Notes:
-Loves riding the rollercoaster (Fujikyu Highland)
-Her favorite food is: pizza. She's good preparing them.
Sae's thoughs about Miina: "Since her personality is very cheerful, I'll do my best to reflect that on the scene and pictures."
Let's hope Sae appears more in this drama. SHE WILL LOOK AWESOME IN UNIFORM!!!!
