AKB48 goes international!
Finally! Our prayers have been listened! I don't know if this idea came from Akimoto's mind (Akipi), but the fact is that... It's real.
Finally, AKB48 Official Site has an English version!

This is the best news this week together with Oogoe Diamond's release, and adds to the words of Akimoto in an interview given a few days ago:

Oogoe Diamond / 大声ダイヤモンド
Latest AKB48 single "Oogoe Diamond" (大声ダイヤモンド ) was released yesterday (October 22). The single ranked 3 in Oricon, their best debut until now. Congratulations!
The single has two versions: Normal and Theater version. The easiest to buy for us, overseas fans, is the Normal version since it's available at the many online shops we know (CD Japan, HMV, Amazon Japan, etc.) To get the theater version you have to go a little bit further...
Both versions include a DVD and bonus pictures. Normal version also includes an alternative cover and Theater version, a handshake event ticket (T_T).

Now, run and buy!

Death Panda!
Did you know that far in 2007 Sayaka and Nonti created a unit called SA&KA?
Did you know that this unit dubbed a mini cartoon called "Death Panda"?
Yup. This is kind of under, really. Like no one knows exactly. But it's true. Nonti speaks, Sayaka and Nonti sing. It's wow. Listening to their powerful voices with metal music background haha. BTW, the guitarist is Marty Friedman.
As far as I know there are 3 episodes plus an introduction. In each episode they are accompanied by a random guest that is dubbed by another AKB (Team K) member.

High-Kick Sayaka!
Finally Sayaka will reach one of her main objectives! ACTION!
I remember she mentioned in her birthday Second Life video that her aim was doing things related to action. That is not a surprise bearing in mind she holds an Aikido 2 dan rank... ^_^
I wondered when could we see her in an action movie or series, and thought we maybe would have to wait for a while but...
YES! This was the news we found this week!
Sayaka will participate in a Martial Arts movie! Awesomeness!
I had read in some fan blogs that Sayaka had mentioned in MC's that she was practicing kicks. Fans were also wondering what she was doing and they related kicks to karate. But why if she is into Aikido? Well, this is the answer!!

We still don't know what's the plot, but her participation is already official. I'm looking forward to know her role in the movie =)
The movie will be premiered in May, 2009. Damn, we gotta wait too much =(

Soooo. Oogoe Diamond PV is AWESOME! Sayaka didn't get a lot of time but her moments are priceless, IMO.
