They were probably well evaluated by people and Ameba Studio because it's been announced that they both will have a regular show starting in March 3rd!
Sixty minutes of awesomeness =) The show will be on air from 5pm to 6pm. Although there are no details, it seems it will be a weekly show.
The nice feature of Ameba Studio is that you watch the program through the show window in case you're passing by the street (in Harajuku) or through their website. So if you have the time and your time zone allows you to, you can watch the show!
The show doesn't have a title yet, so Meetan is asking everyone for ideas.
I wonder what kind of show this will be. With Sayaka and Meetan, we never know.
Congratulations girls! Congratulations Sayaka!
On a personal thought... Meetan has an Ameba Blog, so I wonder... Wouldn't this be a signal or an opportunity for Sayaka creating her own Ameblo? =O
The Glade spray is the Strawberries & Cream scent one. A curious thing (yes, there is something even more curious!) is that below the Strawberries & Cream name, it says Fresas y Crema (the same, in Spanish). I don't know how Glade sprays work in Japan but somehow, since it's written in Spanish, Sayaka feels close... =P
Ten members of AKB48 were promoting the Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li movie that will be released in Japan in February 28. Takahashi Minami, Minegishi Minami, Sato Yukari, Sato Amina, Sato Natsuki, Kasai Tomomi, Umeda Ayaka, Ohori Megumi, Matsubara Natsumi and AKIMOTO SAYAKA were present in the event that included the members wearing the classic blue Chun-Li costume.
Sayaka looking sexily serious.
In the event, the girls made a little Chun-Li dance and spoke about the Street Fighter game, the dance, and the costumes.
Let's review Sayaka's words:
About the dance:
"I never thought I'd have the chance to use the Aikido* I learned for so long in a place like this. How good I learned it!"
*Note: Sayaka is Aikido 2º Dan.
About the game:
"When I'm playing Street Fighter in the game center and someone comes to challenge me, it's obvious I'll lose (LOL)".
"In the game, I've used Chun-Li, Cammy and Sakura. And occasionally, Vega (LOL). Each character and scenery is so minutely done, it's fantastic. Those features are also seen in the movie, so the ones that know the game will be able to enjoy it even more."
Yes, you and I know that Sayaka would be an excellent fight video game character. Namco, Capcom, please base a character on her!!!
The ones that wander around Yahoo Auctions exclusively because of AKB48 know the AKB48 Charity Auctions. These items are given by the girls to be sold to the auction addicted fans. It's pretty tempting, if you ask me. The temptation of having Natsuki's used key holder, Asukas's worn t-shirt, or Yukirin's perfume, for example, is big, even though your wallet can end up vomiting around ¥23,000 (US$260 approx.). The item includes a polaroid picture of the girl holding the item and a phrase by them.
The moment for us, Sayakers, to be tempted has come.
She wore the t-shirt during the Oishii Timing musical. The starting price was ¥1, but the price is now ¥6,751 and still five days to go.
As for the belt, she has written that she bought it but it was too big for her, LOL. The price also started at ¥1, but now is up to ¥7,350 at five days to go.
I'd go for the t-shirt, for obvious reasons... Hehe.
So, we sent fan letters to Sayaka and Sae last Friday! We included some pictures in our respective letters and Heiwa also included a present for Sayaka she couldn't send for Christmas.
Heiwa's letter and present for Sayaka. She made a cute cushion with that amazing needlework she does. As you can see the cushion has several Sayaka's: (from top-left) Chocolove's Ashita wa...; Return Match, High Kick Girl, Baby Baby Baby, and Oogoe Diamond.
My letters. LOL.
HOW DO I SEND A LETTER?
So now, for you not to have an excuse to not write to them, we will give you the address for the fan letters. Remember the staff receives the letter and/or present, reads the letters, checks the present and then, after a couple of days (or three) the stuff is handed to the girls.
There are presents that are not allowed, like money (gift cards, etc.), make-up, perfumes, live things, food, and things too big that cannot be carried by the girls.
How to write addressee in the envelope is something you'll have to discuss with your favorite courier or national post.
Remember also that Sayaka can understand English, but try to not write to her about quantum physics or write her in Shakespearean English. LOL. Writing in English to Sae might be risky since she doesn't understand English. But you can still try. She will still appreciate it.

Sayaka will star a new movie! This news was really surprising, because we never knew anything about it. Sayaka never mentioned a thing.
The title of the movie is Seishiyuri Kishidan [聖白百合騎士団]: Super Gore Girl.
This movie is part of the "Neo Action" series, which are packs of two movies each. These movies are also released on DVD, so we will have the opportunity to watch it and own it!
Jesus Christ, look at her expression! As my friend "Z" said, frightening!
Let's say this straight: This is a totally bloody movie. Liters of blood, bazookas, mutilation, several guns, and school girls.
Let me point out that Sayaka is the protagonist. This is not a "small" role.
I read somewhere that the movie had soft "yuri". "Yuri" is the Japanese term for the lesbian love in manga, anime, etc. The title of the movie also has the word "yuri" on it (SeishiraYURI).
When I first read this I wondered if it could be true, but actually, by watching the trailer... I'll let you to think of it and decide.
So well, did I say trailer? Here it is:
(this trailer contains scenes of the two Neo Action movies, but it will easy to know which one is Sayaka's)
Many thanks to Nippon Cinema, that had the trailer before any Japanese site.
The story focuses in an old-style school for girls (somehow, it made me think of Maria-sama ga Miteru) where something is happening. By the trailer, I can guess a group of girls want to take over the school and implement a dictatorship regime in it. But Sayaka and her knights are there to defend her school...
"To protect the purity of girls... Four knights take up arms...", it reads.
Sayaka under a blood rain, Sayaka shooting, Sayaka with an antitank rifle, Sayaka smiling... Can we ask more? =D
To be released in May 9, Seishirayuri Kishidan.
P.S: Here is an avi version of the trailer in case you want it. The other movie parts were taken out. Thanx Z!
Sayaka's January 30 blogging was one of the most (if not the most) touching blogs ever.
She wrote the entry totally in English except for the last two phrases. Although her English isn't perfect (it's a totally Japanese-like English, like, written in third person), she could write for all of us to understand her feelings. She wrote to us, the foreign fans, and we are eternally grateful.
Here is a extract of the blog:
"Sayaka is happy because (is) supported by a lot of people beyond Japan. Even if I'm in a far place, I always need a heart together."
Sayaka really cares.
Now, maybe if you're not a big Sayaka fan, but you still respect her, don't you think it would be nice to write to her in English and tell her where you're from? ;)
I'm very sorry I haven't been able to update the blog lately (T__T), even though we have had lots of mega interesting news related to Sayaka. But you know, I have to work, too :P
So, let's begin with this old news from January 29. LOL. *sorry mode*
Team B (yes, Team B) had Sayaka as a guest in one of latest B3 shows. The chosen song for Sayaka to be in was the one that fits her the most. Kagami no naka no Jeanne da Arc. She subbed Mikipom. (Let's remember Sayaka sang in this song during the shuffle concert "NHK HALL - Masaka Kono Concert no Ongen wa Ryuushutsu Shinai yo ne" in the Ayarin/Sasshi role.)
Sayaka flew on the stage, she showed all the power she's got inside. She was really into it. When you see the performance you can really see she's enjoying it. I'm glad she was given the opportunity to sing in such a good song =)
At the end of the song, the audience clapped furiously. Looks like they also enjoyed the performance!
During the MC, Sayaka was called "aniki" by Sasshi and Tanamin. "Aniki" means "elder brother", however, yakuzas call "aniki" to their superiors, too. Well, I've always thought Sayaka would be a good yakuza... *rolls eyes*
Sayaka was asked by Tanamin how she did to have those amazing chocolate-like ABS... Sayaka, as usual, said: "nothing". However, Cindy said that was a lie coz she always saw her doing sit-ups. Sayaka praised Tanamin saying she had a nice body line... ^__^
During another MC, Yonechan asked the other to do a "Sayaka pose", and this was the response:
Everyone did a muscle-like pose, except Rabu-tan. She explained that during the rehearsals, every time she called Sayaka she would come to her doing a "chu~" pose and asking "what?". Cute.
In the final MC and bow to the audience, Sayaka also wanted to say goodbye. She looked happy.
