INFINITY: Give me your money!

I'm back!blogger-emoticon.blogspot.com
Thanx everyone for your lovely messages after quake *^__^*

I have a huge list of things I have to write about and I don't really know when or how I'll do it. BUT, I know where to begin:

AKS (the AKB self label) finally released Infinity on DVD! When fans began to think AKS had forgotten about this orgasmic musical (I never lost hopes, BTW), the announcement was made in AKBINGO. Infinity would be released in March 6th.

Disc 1: Akimoto-Takahashi version (105min)
Disc 2: Miyazawa-Kashiwagi version (110min)
Disc 3: Making of (24min)
Includes 16 pages booklet.

How to buy it?

- At AKB shop in Akihabara (yes, this is a cruel option, LOL)
- At AKB online shop (via deputy service)

As you know, all the AKS releases since 2008 (except the latest singles released under the King Records label) are not available at normal stores (not even in Japan), so it's impossible for us to buy the products directly in traditional online shops like CD Japan, HMV or Amazon. What's worse, the AKB online shop doesn't accept international credit cards nor ships overseas.
However, there is a way we can buy the AKS releases and be sent the stuff we buy directly to our houses. There is a price to pay, though.

You have to go to deputy services or shopping services that will make the order for you and will send the item to your house after they receive it in Japan. Of course they will charge extra fees because, u know, this is business.

But you know, for AKB, I do it. And if you like SaeYaka so much, why not trying? By buying Infinity DVD you will support Sayaka's and Sae's work and, why not, you'll pay part of their salary :P

These are three shopping reliable shopping services you can use (you need a PayPal account):
From Japan (this one is the current most convenient one)
Shopping Mall Japan
Crescent Shop

You just have to point out the address of the product you want and they'll do the rest for you.

Sayaka and Sae will thank you!

I bought mine already but it will be sent together with Shibuya AX 2010 Box by late March. I have to be patient.

  1. Is there a limited time for these type of items, or will it possibly go down in cost? I think I'm going to get it anyway, but just wondering. Thanks.

  2. I don't think Infinity will see out (not soon, at least), so u have time to buy if u can't do if you can't do it right now. The price, however, will always be the same. No hope it will drop.

one more question (thanks for answering the other one ^_^)

well... you see.. I'm underaged.. so I'm worried about giving contact info and stuff... Which site did you use to order Infinity? the From Japan one?
And when you search the country, how do you find USA (it said "ei:United States of America" and I don't know what that means...) TT_TT

(I'm kinda hoping it'll be upped on torrents soon, but I want to do my part to support the girls (>w<)b )

one last question (seriously, you guys are the best!)

When you're bidding at Yahoo!Auctions and the price is at Yen, do you just place a bet in yen and when you pay with a credit card (that's in dollars), it's okay?
    ReplyDelete
  12. @dragon: Depending on the service they will charge you in dollars or yen. For example, in Crescent and Shopping Mall Japan you bid in yens but when paying, they will convert the total to dollars so you'll be charged in dollars. From Japan will always charge you in yens so your bank (credit card) will automatically convert from yens to dollars depending of the exchange rate of the day. Hope it's clear :)

...bad news, the one I found at From Japan was just the pamphlet (who sells a pamphlet?!) so.. yeah..

But!! I did manage to find another one ^w^

Okay, really.. ONE last question. When you use Shopping Mall, do they automatically charge you if you won a bid? An you only have to worry about the shipping of your stuff and not the others that are shipped with it right? ^_^"

  14. @dragon: Hmmm, you want to buy the DVD right? Where are you exactly searching? Because you say you found the pamphlet only. Are searching in auctions? If you want to buy the DVD you have to use the shopping service instead of auctions.
BTW, the pamphlet is a mini book that was sold during the musical.

About Shopping Mall (as well as other services): No, you have to pay when they charge you. Shopping Mall Japan will send you an email with the charge and you have to send them them money via paypal web site pointing out your user name and the bills you're paying. If you don't pay in 15 days they'll ban you.
Crescent, on the other hand, will mark the won auctions and you will be able to pay through their site with paypal.

I think i'll do a quick entry about how to buy stuff in From Japan for you to be more clear.
